Software Engineer Intern - SAS Python

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to following:

Working and collaborating with others on different consulting projects in financial industry.

Supports data acquisition, preparation (ETL, validation, cleaning, etc.)

Contribute technical knowledge to support sales opportunities.

Assist senior consultants to translate client requirement/needs into technical/analytical approaches.

ESSENTIAL

Bachelor or Master degree, preferable in Computational or Financial Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Economics, Computer Engineering or other related quantitative or analytical field.

Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Travel as business requirements dictate.

PREFERENCE

Master's degree preferred.

Advanced programming skills with the SAS and Python(Pandas) language.

Understanding of financial industry and risk management domain.

Knowledge of full software development, sales, implementation and maintenance life cycles.

Experience with big data technologies/open sources such as Antlr4, Hadoop, Spark, etc.

This role is likely to convert to full-time, should your performance is satisfactory. We would sponsor H-1B visa if needed.
